Because of this he died on the spot. The incident happened late Wednesday night. After the accident, angry people tried to block the highway. According to the police, 58-year-old Siram Yadav, a resident of Pithampur, returned to the village around 8:00 PM to participate in the burning of a person in the family. He had just arrived near the village of Pithampur when an unknown driver coming from behind at high speed hit the bike hard and crushed the cyclist. Siram Yadav died on the spot due to a severe head injury in the incident. After the incident, the driver fled the scene. The police took the body into custody late at night and sent it to the district hospital for post-mortem. The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem on Thursday. The police are trying to identify the vehicle that caused the accident based on CCTV footage.
