Rakeshchandra Kalsagar, appointed to the Mahsmond and Kankar Lok Sabha constituencies, conducted the election preparations under the Mahsmond Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday. He inspected the strong room located in Pitiyahar along with Collector and District Election Officer Parbhat Malik. He took information related to security while giving instructions about the required preparations. The convener said that CCTV cameras will be installed in all four strong rooms and a barrier will be set up in the compound to distribute voting materials. He informed the police observer about further arrangements. Later, Kalsagar asked about the appointment process in the assembly. He also visited other monitoring centers. Manish Kumar Davas, Expenditure Observer appointed for the four assembly constituencies of Mehsmond district under Lok Sabha constituency-9 Mehsmond, held a meeting of expenditure accounting team in the meeting room of the district panchayat on Thursday. The expenditure watchdog said that all expenditure-related teams should work independently, impartially, calmly and carefully as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India. He asked for video recording etc. of all election related activities so that the accounting team does not face any kind of difficulty or problem in calculation. He gave instructions to update the shadow book properly.
