The police station commander said that this action was taken based on confidential information regarding illegal liquor. However, during this period not a single alcohol smuggler could be arrested. While during the raid at Sijuri village, Sujit Kumar, son of Naresh Kwat, a resident of Chintamanchak, and Manoj Sharma, son of Ramji Sharma, were arrested in a drunken state.
