On Thursday, the newly married women worshiping Gangaur took out Bindouri after worshiping Shiva and Parvati in the form of Gangaur. In the parents’ home, the sisters made tilak on their brothers’ foreheads and prayed for their long life and prosperity, while the brothers also gave gifts to their sisters and promised to protect them by increasing their respect. Mamta Shah, wife of Akash Shah, resident of Mango Ramakrishna Colony, performs the first Gangaur Puja after marriage at her mother’s home in Asansol, West Bengal. He took out Gangaur’s Bindouri for the first time after marriage. At the same time, Ishika Aggarwal worships at the Adityapur Ashiana Garden. Here the women gave water to Gangaur. After the puja, glass bangle, Mahavar, vermilion, roli, mehendi, tilak, bindi, comb, kajal, red chunari, prasad etc. are offered as tokens of marriage. Danced and sang. Seema Aggarwal said that the ritual of removing Bindori was performed today. In this regard, the rituals of feeding water to Isar Gaur made of clay with a silver ring were performed. At the same time, Prasad made of gram, wheat and sugar was offered. Apart from this, women also offered things of their choice like Prasad. With the melodious sounds of Rajasthani songs, women and girls gathered with Gangaur and first worshiped Gangaur and then celebrated by performing folk dances. After worshiping Gauri, Ghoomar performed in the style of Isar-Gaur. The 16-day Gangaur Utsav of the newlyweds will end with Gangaur Visarjan on April 11. East Singhbhum District Marwari Conference Sakchi branch will perform mass puja at Sakchi Thakurbari temple at 2.30 pm. At the same time, on behalf of Rajasthan Yuvak Mandal, Gangaur puja mass will also be performed at Mandal Bhawan located on Jugsalai ME Road. Apart from this, mass worship is held at Kadma Lakshminarayan Temple and Sonari Rajasthan Bhawan. Marwari women from different parts of the city reach the river Mango Subarnarekha and after giving water to the horse, worship Isar-Gangaur and immerse it.
