On Wednesday, the Excise Department team raided hotels and places in Brambe, Mandar, Chanho and Bedo where liquor was being produced illegally. The production team seized a large quantity of liquor being sold illegally. The raid was conducted on the instructions of Ranchi Assistant Foreign Commissioner Arun Mishra. Subsequently an FIR has been registered against six. One accused has been arrested there. Five people managed to escape during the raid. In the raid, illegal foreign liquor, beer, 200 kg Mahua, 130 liters of ID were confiscated.
