The Aurangabad police observed several incidents of chain abduction in the city on Wednesday. A SIT team was formed. At around 3:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon, Aurangabad SP Ambrish Rahul checked the computer and informed that cases of chain kidnapping are happening continuously in Aurangabad city for the past few days.

Chain abduction incidents took place on August 25, September 18, September 24, September 30 under Nagar police station area and on July 11 and September 11 under Mufusil police station area. During this period, 6 cases of chain abduction occurred in about two months. A SIT team formed on the basis of observation of CCTV footage, technical analysis and information gathering exposed this scandal. People who were involved in the gang of thieves were arrested.

Muhammad Mamul Rashid alias Sonu, son of Muhammad Harun Rashid, resident of Neil village in Kothi police station area of Rohtas district, Muhammad Arif, son of Muhammad Arshad Ali, resident of Pali Mohi Manzil road in Nagar police station area of Rohtas district, were arrested on charges of chain abduction.
Muhammad Abdul Mutbeel, son of Mustafa Ansari, resident of village Panch Kazar in police station area Karti of Arwal district, on charges of selling stolen gold and Dharaj Kumar alias Tinko, son of Rajendra Prasad, resident of Pathar Bazar ward number 12 of police station area of Dehri In Rohats district, on charges of theft arrested for buying gold worth Rs. 56.1 grams of gold was recovered from the arrested accused.
Aurangabad SP said that the arrest will now reduce the incidents of netizens in Aurangabad city.
