Roykal, Light: On Sunday, 101 devotees offered bonas to Sri Kanakadurgadevi Amma, who is enshrined on Mount Srigiri in village Raikal Mandal Maitapur. They took the bonam from the village with drum claps and went to the temple which was 2 km away and offered the bonams. Temple committee President Busa Ganga Mallaiah, Amarender general secretary, treasurer Beti Raju, members and devotees participated in the programme.
People should be happy
MLC Jeevan Reddy said that Durgamma implored the people to be happy and be happy. On Sunday, he participated in the Durga Mata festival organized by Sanghamitra Youth in Raikal town and performed puja. Leaders Koyyadi Mahipal, Diwakar Reddy, Bhumaiya and Raja Reddy participated with him.
