Mumbai: Seven people died in a house fire in Mumbai’s Chembur area. The Kakbhor incident on Sunday has created a sensation in the area. The fire department has been informed that this terrible fire started around 5:30 in the morning. The fire officials said that a short circuit was mainly responsible for the accident.

According to sources, the deceased were all in a deep sleep during the incident so no one realized it. On the other hand, dangers increase as fires spread quickly. After the fire escalated, the fire brigade arrived and took the injured to the nearby Rajwadi Hospital, where all the seven people were declared brought dead. The local administration has already started investigating the incident.

There was a shop on the first floor of the house, where it is believed that the fire spread quickly due to tangled electrical cables. Although the intensity of the fire was not so much, the accident took a big form as the deceased were all asleep.
The fire came under control at 9:30am with the help of fire engines and water tankers. This event spread excitement in the area.
According to the engineer on site Mr Kangur, this house was mainly two storeys with shops on the first floor and people living on the second floor.
The administration has revealed the identity of the dead. The deceased are Paris Gupta (7), Narendra Gupta (10), Manju Prem Gupta (30), Anita Gupta (39), Prem Gupta (30), Vidhi Gupta and Geeta Gupta.
