The move by the National Investigation Agency comes after one of the perpetrators of the Dhaka terror attack in July 2016 admitted on his YouTube channel that he was influenced by Naik’s sermons. India has requested the extradition of Zakir Naik to Malaysia to investigate the allegations against him, but Malaysia has yet to grant the request.
