In Sheikhupura, on Friday, CPI ML workers protested in front of Sheikhupura Sarai block offices with their demands. Alongside this, they staged a protest in front of the main gate of the office. The agitating people raised slogans against the central and state governments.

Widows from all poor families should be given Rs 5,000 as pension. According to MNREGA, the daily wage should be Rs 600 and work should be given for 200 days in a year. Pension cards must be prepared for all the poor families who lacked pension cards. Also, there was a demand to withdraw smart electricity meters and give 200 units of free electricity to all the poor, give land certificates to the poor who settle and provide housing to the landless families by giving 5 decimals of land.
He also demanded the government to issue an income certificate of less than Rs 72,000 to get the Small Entrepreneurs Scheme amount. Many people including MLA leader Rajendra Paswan, Nandlal Choudhary, Sahadev Malik, Girija Devi, Rita Devi, Brijanandan Ram, Naresh Choudhary were present on the occasion. The agitating people said that the agitation of the party will continue in a gradual manner demanding solutions to the problems of the public.
