Launch a campaign against illegal alcohol consumption
Giridih Tax Department team has launched an intensive raid operation against illegal consumption of alcohol before Durga Puja. This campaign was carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Product Superintendent. During this, the Excise Department team stopped the illegal activities taking place in Gaderma and Jobhi villages in Mufassil police station area.

At the spot, 400 liters of liquor ready to be supplied were destroyed after destroying the Java Mahua worthy of liquor kept nearby. Also, all the liquor making equipment was demolished along with the furnace. 120 quintessence of Java Mahua were also seized. Before the action, the businessmen ran away after seeing the raiding team. Sub-Inspector Mahendra Devgam said that further action is being taken by registering absconding cases against illegal alcohol traders.
