One person died due to drowning in the pool
One died due to drowning in village Nauki Ahar (pond) of Giridih. The deceased was Sanjhlu alias Salim, a resident of Harla in this police station area. On Thursday night, some youth saw a person drowning in Nauki Ahar (pond), after which they informed the local police.

Fear increased after finding slippers and a towel
During the search, local villagers saw a pair of slippers and a towel. But due to excess water in the pool, nothing could be seen clearly at night. After seeing the slippers on Friday morning, a resident of Harla, Doji Khatoon, expressed fear that her husband was drowning. She also said that her husband left home for work on Thursday afternoon and did not return home until late at night.
The police seized the body and sent it for postmortem.
Here, after the body came out, the eyes of the whole family including the deceased’s wife and child became moist and the atmosphere became extremely sad.
