Guwahati: Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was rushed to the hospital early morning after a misfire from his licensed gun resulted in a self-inflicted injury to his leg on October 1.

However, the incident occurred at his home around 4:45 a.m. while he was checking the weapon before leaving.
According to the source, the actor was supposed to take a flight to Kolkata. He was holding his license gun when it fell from his hand and a bullet was fired that hit his knee.
Reports indicate that the bullet hit his knee, prompting immediate medical attention at Mumbai’s CRITICare Hospital. He was hospitalized around 05:15 and is now reportedly out of danger.
Officials at the hospital confirmed that his condition is stable, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
