Muslims are more, henceforth it will be difficult for BJP to win in UP; Controversial statement of SP MLA FIR registered against SP MLA Mehboob Ali for controversial statement – News18 Kannada Achi-News

LUCKNOW: An FIR has been registered against Samajwadi Party Member of Parliament Mehboob, who created a controversy by saying that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rule will end in Uttar Pradesh as Muslim population increases in the country. Addressing a public meeting in Bijnor, Mehboob Ali, referring to the BJP party, said, “Your rule will end. The Muslim population is increasing. We will come into force’.

“The Mughals ruled for 850 years. Those who are burning the country should note that the people have woken up. They gave the answer in the Senedd (election) and in the coming days, in 2027, you will definitely vote and we will come,” said Ali, MLA from Amroha.

An FIR has also been registered against the party’s Bijnor chief Sheikh Zakir in connection with the case. The FIR said the MLA had made a statement which “promotes enmity between Hindus and Muslims on the basis of religion”. A video of Ali’s remarks was widely shared on social media, drawing strong condemnation from the BJP.

The BJP is outraged

“SP MLA from Amroha Mehboob Ali said in the “Samvidhan Samman” meeting that “Yogi’s rule will end as the Muslim population is increasing now”. Is it pro-constitutional or secular? In the X post, the party spokesperson claimed , Shehzad Poonawala, that the plan is clear to divide the Hindus and unite the Muslim vote bank.

Quoting Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Poonawala said, “Akhilesh says pontiffs are like mafia, Rahul says Ram Mandir is like Prana Pratistha dance programme. Mehboob Ali Encourages Demographic Change!! The agenda is clear, isn’t it?” He asked that.

Ali’s statement was criticized by the Andhra Pradesh BJP vice-president, who wrote in X Post, “Samajwadi Party MLA Mehboob Ali’s statement, ‘The Muslim population has increased, now your rule will end,’ reflects a stand anti-Hindu.within the party.Even though India is 80% Hindu, SP leaders accused him of making such divisive statements that show their true intentions.
