Suhani Sen from Mahodia village of Sehore district has been selected by the Madhya Pradesh team for the national wrestling competition. Suhani secured first position in the state level school girls wrestling competition held in Khandwa. He won a gold medal in 62 kg.

Even before this, Suhani has performed well in tehsil, district and state level wrestling competitions in 62 kg. Suhani had given his test in Asian wrestling held in Delhi. He also had a better performance in the division level wrestling competition. Suhani Sen is the daughter of Bablu Sen from Mahodia village. Suhani is a class 11 student at Kasturba Government Girls School, Ganj, Sehore. Trainer Lokesh Parmar trains Suhani.
The Bhopal division got 24 medals
Under 17, 19 boys and girls state level school freestyle wrestling competition was organized by Madhya Pradesh Directorate of School Education, Bhopal from 24th to 26th September 2024 at Khandwa in collaboration with Department of School Education, Indore Division. In it the boys and girls wrestlers of the Bhopal division performed brilliantly and won 12 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze medals.
