A man was shot dead late on Thursday night in Laxmanpur village of Mufsil police station in Bhojpur. An FIR has been registered in the matter. Lilbati Devi, wife of the deceased, filed a case against Chandan, Vikas and Rohit of the village and an unknown person.

A forensic investigation team arrived at the scene
The deceased is Rambabu Prasad, aged 44, son of late Lachchidhar Prasad, a resident of Lakshanpur village ward number 17 in Mufasil police station area and was an agriculturist by profession. After receiving information about the incident, former sarpanch of Jamira Panchayat Lalji Prasad met the family members of the deceased and took information about the incident. Apart from that, he demanded from the administration immediate compensation and a government job for the deceased’s family member.
