A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Santosh Kumar Suman, Minister of Information and Technology and Small Water Resources, Government of Bihar, on Friday evening at Smart Ashok Bhavan in Aurangabad city.

In the meeting, Aurangabad MP Abhay Kumar Sinha, Aurangabad MLA Anand Shankar Singh, Nabinagar MLA Vijay Kumar Singh alias W Singh, Rafiganj MLA Mohd. Nahaludin, H K Goh, Bhim Yadav, Aurangabad, MK Dilip Kumar Singh, JDU District President, Ashok Singh, BJP District President, Mukesh Sharma, other MLA representatives, District Council President, District Implementation Committee members along with District officials were present.

In this meeting, various development works being conducted by various departments of Aurangabad district were discussed in depth by the Minister-in-Charge Santosh Kumar Suman. Many important issues like education, PHED, forest distribution, agriculture, revenue, health, roads, MNREGA, housing, pension, food supply etc. were discussed in the meeting.

During the review of the work of the education department, the district education officer informed that mid-day meal is being conducted in all the 238 schools of the district. Compensation of all the district’s cooks has been paid by July.

During the meeting, former Rafiganj MLA Ashok Kumar Singh asked how many schools are there in the district, which do not have basic facilities like seating, drinking water, separate toilets for girl students etc. The Aurangabad district education officer informed that a tender has been issued For the supply of services, water, electricity, kitchen storage, electrification, etc. and other facilities in approximately 600 schools.

MK Nabinger asked how many schools were tagged in the district and what actions were taken in those where there is no land for construction? The district education officer stated that the copy of the land for the proposal was given to the area officer.

During the meeting, MP Abhay Kushwaha said that there should be link roads everywhere in all the schools in the district. He directed the officials to assess all the schools in the district and connect them with link roads.

During the review of the forest department, the forest department officer said that 3,25,000 saplings were planted in the district under departmental afforestation and aquatic life. Along with this, nurseries are also established through Jeevika Didi and farmers are given incentive funds.

During the review of the supply department, it was reported by the authority that food supply is provided continuously in the district. Aurangabad district tops the top five in supply of food grains in the whole of Bihar.

During the review of the Minority Welfare Department, the planning and design of the departmental work was explained by the Welfare Officer.

During a review of Panchayati Raj Department, the District Panchayat Raj Officer informed that 6032 solar lights have been installed in the district under the Chief Solar Minister. A total of 58 panchayat government buildings are ready in the district and the works for construction of 27 buildings are in progress. Apart from this, other works were explained in detail in the program.

During the review of the health department, the civil surgeon informed that medicines are available on demand in all government hospitals of the district. Action is taken according to the complaints. Apart from this, the district also has facilities for X-ray photography, ultrasound, CT scanning, venom injection and more.

The district officer said that land has been identified for the construction of a trauma center. The members of the implementation committee and the MLA representatives who were present at the meeting will inform the minister in charge of the problems in their field. The minister in charge instructed the concerned parties to solve the problem as soon as possible.

All the officials of the division were instructed by the minister in charge to carry out the departmental work in an unbiased manner to the best of their ability. In the said meeting, Aurangabad SP Ambrish Rahul, Deputy District Development Commissioner Abhandara Mohan Singh, Additional Collector Lalit Bhushan Ranjan, DTO Shailesh Kumar, SDO Sadar Santan Kumar SINGh, SDO Daudnagar Manoj Kumar, DPRO Iftekhar Ahmed, all the Senior Deputy Collectors of the public district . Liaison Officer Shweta Priyadarshi, Civil Surgeon, Executive Engineers of all departments and other district level officers were present.
