GUWAHATI: Lalit Chandra Bharli College Student Union election results for the academic year 2024-2025 have been declared, with most of the key posts being filled by candidates from the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).

Sikhamani Das was elected president, with Kaushik Sarma as vice president. The post of General Secretary went to Kangkana Jyoti Deka, and Nayan Jyoti Deka was elected Assistant General Secretary. Other roles include Payal Devi as the social service secretary, Giti Bish Rathkur as the culture secretary, Riturge Boro as the boys’ common room secretary, and Mayuri Islam as the girls’ common room secretary.
Two posts were won by candidates from All Assam Students Union (AASU). Veritika Kalita was uncontested as Literature Secretary, and Nishita Deka was uncontested as Debate and Symposium Secretary.
