Agartala: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given priority to moving the country forward through the development of the education system. The state government is also working on various steps to provide quality education to the students of the state in the vision of the Chief Minister. For this reason, special importance was given to the development of infrastructure in the education sector.

This was said by the Prime Minister, Professor Dr. Manik Saha while formally inaugurating the CM SATH project at the Agartala Town Hall to facilitate the field of higher education for the deserving students of the state. The Prime Minister fulfilled his election promise by inaugurating this scholarship scheme. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister Dr. Saha that Tripura Madhya Shiksha Parshad has launched CM-Saath scheme to provide financial assistance to Kriti students who are successful in secondary and higher secondary for their higher education.

In the field of education, the main objective of the state government is to formulate various policies and programs related to education and ensure its implementation in real terms. In addition to this, one of the government’s goals is to ensure quality education for students, work to develop education for women and ethnic, poor, tribal, neglected minorities, provide financial assistance to deserving students through scholarships, loans, etc. . and the implementation of the National Education Policy and related guidelines in educational institutions in the state.

It should be noted that financial assistance is provided in this project to 100 students according to the order of merit of secondary examination results for 2 years and 5 thousand taka every month to 100 students according to the order of merit of higher secondary examination results for 3 years. In this project, 152 people at block level, 12 people at Nagar Panchayat level, 26 people at Pur Parishad level and 10 people at Agartala Pur Nigam level will be selected and a total of 200 beneficiaries will get financial support. These 200 beneficiaries will be selected through the Regional Education Officer of each area.

The Prime Minister said that this is a vocational scheme, which will encourage students in the field of studies. This scheme has been launched to ensure that no student is disadvantaged due to lack of funds. 1 crore 20 lakh rupees will be spent on this project in the first year, 2 crore 40 lakh rupees in the second year and 3 crore rupees from the third year onwards The chief minister also said that the state government has already taken several steps to provide quality education to the students and implement them.

A scheme called ‘Super-30’ was launched to provide financial assistance to the top 30 students in Class X to take quality training for NEET, JEE etc. exams. 5 lakh 30 thousand rupees are spent every year for this project. Question papers are prepared centrally for students from class III to class VIII. ‘Tripura Science Talent Search Exam’ and ‘Mathematics Talent Search Exam’ have been launched with the aim of increasing science mindset among class IX students. The ‘Nipun Tripura’ project has been launched with the aim of improving basic skills among third class students.

The Chief Minister also said that ‘Vidyajyoti Scheme’ has been launched in the state in 2022 to improve the education system. So far 125 schools have been brought under the Vidyajyoti scheme in the state. Bicycles have been provided to about 1 lakh girl students who have passed class IX. The prime minister also discussed the success of various projects of the education department at the event.
