A life prisoner escaped from parole in Gurugram, Haryana. The prisoner was in prison for life in a case of murder. After 4 weeks of parole, the prisoner had not surrendered in prison in accordance with the appointed time, after which the prison superintendent

Let us tell you that the escaped prisoner is Surendra alias Chauti, who lives in Aliyar village of Manesar district. In the year 2014, he was serving life sentence of rigorous imprisonment under Section 302,201,120-B and 25 of Arms Act, Sadar Ballabhgarh police station Faridabad. The prisoner’s parole was accepted on 9 August 2024 and on 14 August 2024, he was released on parole for 4 weeks.
The prisoner was to surrender in the Gurugram jail by 5 pm on 12 September, but the prisoner had not surrendered as per the scheduled time. However, on the complaint of the Jail Superintendent, the police have registered a case against the prisoner under Section 9 of the Haryana Moral Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act 2022.
