Bengaluru: The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has invited applications for 945 vacancies in the Department of Agriculture. This includes the posts of Agricultural Officers and Assistant Agricultural Officers. There will be 273 posts for Hyderabad Karnataka and 672 posts for other groups. How many posts?
Applications can be made from October 7 for 945 vacancies in the Department of Agriculture across the state of Karnataka. November 7 is the last day for submitting applications. The posts will be filled through competitive examination. This includes 128 Agriculture Officer posts and 817 Assistant Agriculture Officer posts.
Application Fee Details:
Eligible candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 600 for general category candidates, Rs 300 for backward class candidates and Rs 50 for ex-servicemen. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates are exempted from fees.

Qualification:
Candidates for these posts should possess a B.Sc or B.Tech degree qualification in Agriculture from a recognized University.

Age and Pay Limit:
General candidates should have minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 38 years. Backward category candidates can apply up to 41 and SC, ST candidates can apply up to 43. The post of Agricultural Officer and Assistant Agricultural Officers will be paid Rs 43 thousand to Rs 83 thousand and Rs 40 thousand to Rs 78 thousand.
