Kolkata: North Eastern Railway has announced that several express and local trains have been canceled due to rising water level in Ganga. The water level rose up to 30 mm near Bridge No. 195, which is mainly on the Ganga. The Jamalpur-Bhagalpur section going to Ratanpur and Barrierpur on both up-down lines will remain closed from 21 September 11:45 pm due to water rising to the surface of the gridder. A ban has also been placed on the movement of goods on that line.
Several express trains have also been canceled on the 22nd.
