Navratri and Dussehra are important festivals of Hindu tradition and are celebrated in different styles across the country every year. When Dussehra comes, the first thing that comes to mind is the festival of jumbo rides and puppets.

In the southern part of India, Navratri festival is celebrated with a very interesting and unique tradition known as Bombe festival or Golu or Kolu (Kannada) or Bommala Koluvu (Telugu) or Bommai Kolu (Tamil) or simply Dasara Gombe.

As the festival of Dussehra approaches, dolls are celebrated in most homes in South Karnataka. For them we present a doll shop in the capital.

A variety of Dussehra dolls are sold at ‘Raga Arts’ shop, next to Shalini Maidan, 4th T Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore. Colorful dolls of different designs are kept here. Dolls are available from 100 rupees to thousands of rupees.

You can find many home decoration items including wooden dolls, POP dolls, toy dolls, wooden palace, female dolls, dozens of god idols, wall paintings.

Vishnu Murthy, Krishna Leela, bird dolls, Indian rural beauty, Dasara Jamboosawari, elephants, Dashavatara Vishnu, Sri Rama Parivar, Shiva Parivar, Brindavan Krishna, Shiva Parvati Kalyana, Ramayana and Mahabharata are displayed.
