There is a growing tendency to extort money from foreigners when they come to the city. This time a similar incident took place in the capital of the country, Delhi itself. A thug was accused of defrauding a Japanese citizen of about 98 thousand 700 rupees. Reportedly, the citizen wanted to visit Varanasi after reaching Delhi. But on his way there, the amount disappeared from his account.

The Japanese national said that an unknown man told him that all the hotels in Delhi were closed due to heavy protests, but he promised to take him to a better hotel, but the man did not keep his word. The alien dropped the citizen in the middle and fled.

The Japanese national, identified as Sushunki Liu, arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at 11 pm on September 17.
He was looking for a taxi after leaving the airport. A man appeared there with a car, he said that all the hotels in the city were closed tonight. Also no hotels are available now due to heavy protests. He assured the Japanese citizen that he would arrange for him to stay in the capital. After traveling to different parts of central Delhi, the person told Sushunki that most of the hotels in Delhi were closed due to various protests. After that the person offered to take him to Varanasi.

Sushunki agreed. The person left with Sushunki in another car. At that time, the person transferred 98 thousand 700 taka from his credit card to his wallet for car rental. After embezzling the money, the Japanese man left him in a secluded place.
When Sushunki realized that he was a victim of fraud, he went to the Indira Gandhi Airport police station to lodge a complaint. A case under Section 318(4) and Section 40 of the Indian Penal Code has already been filed against some unknown persons.
