Before leaving Vadodara, he took ₹30,000 from her by telling a false story that his wallet was missing. He returned and started living with her. He found that this was the way to make easy money for him. He married another widow in Delhi in 2023 with another fake story. He continued to cheat in the same way.
Fraudster Mukhim Khan received expensive gifts like mobile phones, jewelery and two-wheelers from these women. Then sell them. If he couldn’t get them to buy him gifts, he would tell a fake story about his ATM card not working or running out of money.
Similarly, he ordered a two-wheeler as a gift for a woman, paying only a token amount for it. He told the woman that there was some problem and he has given the rest of the money for now. A person who goes for the first time on a new bike never comes back.
