In the wake of this development, AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge, who has come forward to defend Rahul Gandhi’s image, has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and JP Nadda. BJP leaders have been lashing out against Rahul Gandhi and have asked Kharge in the letter to keep him under control. Reacting to this, BJP has compared Rahul Gandhi to a failed product. He said Kharge was doing the work of polishing it.

Two days after Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemning BJP leaders’ objectionable comments against Rahul Gandhi, BJP chief JP Nadda wrote a reply. The Congress has sent a letter to Kharge listing the derogatory words used against the Chief Minister. Taking a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, Nadda wrote that the Congress had tried to re-polish and re-launch a “failed product” that had been rejected by the people several times.
