Demand to build a footbridge
The forum’s state president Ram Yatan Yadav said that the Patna-Dhanbad Express, Purva Express, Jan Stabdi, Rajendranagar-Banka and Budha Purnima Express should be stopped. Besides, the construction of a footbridge at the eastern end of the station will provide convenience to passengers.
A memorandum was submitted to the station manager
Those involved in the protest submitted a letter of demand to the manager of an open station. Apart from this, a demand was also raised for a train stop with passenger facilities at Gulzarbagh, Banka Ghat, Khosrowpur and Karauta stations.
Many local people including Shatrughan Prasad Singh alias Gandhiji, Vijay Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Ranveer Kumar, Vinod Das, Satyam Kumar, Sunita Devi and social worker Gajendra Prasad Singh were present on this occasion.
