BVS Reddy, BSP union secretary of CITU, said that hundreds of workers under CITU’s baron protested in front of Boria gate regarding the pending wage agreement, biometric attendance and 39 months outstanding lions and many other demands. This demonstration is being held today in all Steel Authority of India plants at the call of the Steel Workers Union of Hindustan (CITU).

CITU members protested at Buria Gate for about an hour on Tuesday morning. During this he raised slogans against the BSP management. Here, amid the protest, a photograph was taken by the IR department of BSP and a fight broke out between the photo crews and CITU personnel.   • A solution must be found for the supplement collected and the remaining allowance.
  • SAIL’s agreement in RINL has not been implemented till date, it should be implemented.
  • Night allowance should not be linked to a biometric attendance system.
  • Biometric and RF ID attendance system should be implemented only when a unanimous solution is reached by sitting with all the unions.
