On Monday, Collector Parbhat Malik organized a Jan Chowple in the Collectorate premises. Already on the first day, 45 complainants arrived from around the district. The complainants told about their problems in series. The Collector then directed the concerned officers to complete the work as per the rules. People who were upset about not getting the benefits of government schemes related to status certificate, land and pension, expressed their grievances to the Collector.
The Collector listened to the problems of all the applicants one by one and asked the concerned officers to solve the problems of the applicants within the stipulated time. On Monday, Neelkanth Binjhwar of Bhasana applied for a caste certificate in Bian Chauple. He said he had approached the public service center but the caste proof was yet to be done. Similarly, Vijay Mirda of Patra Pali village applied for demarcation of his land.
According to him, the demarcation has not been done for a long time. Vinod Sahani of Sirpur village said he was facing problems due to excessive electricity bills. He asked to take the necessary actions. Poonam Nand applied for the appointment of Rahman. He applied for a mercy appointment and a pension issue as soon as possible.
Similarly, under the unorganized workers scheme, an application has been made to avail the benefits of Bhagini Prasuti Yojana. The Collector directed the Ministry of Labor to investigate and resolve the request. Apart from this, applications related to New Ration Card, Kisan Saman Nidhi Amount, Old Age Pension, Prime Minister Awas Yojana were given. Sub-commissioned officer Umesh Sahoo, Deputy Commissioner Ashish Verma and officials of the concerned department were present at Yan Chauple.
