New FIR by CBI which took over NEET question paper investigation! Achi-News

NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) NEET-UG has registered a fresh FIR soon after taking up the investigation into the NEET question paper leak case, official sources said. The central government has handed over the investigation into irregularities, cheating, cheating and irregularities in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-UG) held on May 5 to the CBI. The CBI, which has started the investigation, has registered a fresh FIR.

Officials said the CBI has registered a fresh case against unknown persons on the directions of the Union Education Ministry. About 24 lakh students have taken the medical entrance exam. The Union Education Minister said that the ministry had to give in to the demands of protesting students in several cities in order to investigate the irregularities.

The central government has sacked NTA director general Subodh Kumar following the NEET question paper leak. Pradeep Singh Kharola has been appointed in his place. The Center has also formulated an anti-paper leaking law. A 7 member expert committee has been established for a transparent, smooth and fair system of examinations.

Why is NEET cancelled?

The central government has decided not to cancel the medical entrance test despite huge opposition. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has explained why the government has not given an order to cancel NEET. Speaking on the issue, the minister said that the leak of the NEET question paper was an isolated incident and it affected only a limited number of candidates. This should not affect lakhs of students who have cleared the exam properly, said Samajaishi.
