Janata Dal’s secular leader Suraj Ravana was arrested. Suraj is the brother of Prajawal Ravana, who is accused of sexual exploitation. Prajuwal is accused of sexually exploiting many women. Meanwhile, Sooraj is arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a party worker.
In fact, Prajwal, who lost from the Hassan Lok Sabha seat, was arrested soon after he returned from Germany on May 31. Cases of rape and intimidation are registered against Prajuwal. Earlier, police said a case was registered against JD(S) MLC Suraj Revanna on Saturday. He is accused of sexually assaulting a party worker a few days ago. Chetan KS (27) complained to the police that Suraj Revanna, elder son of Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna, sexually assaulted him on the evening of June 16 at his farmhouse at Ghannikada in Holenarasipura taluk.
