NET is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on 18 June. The exam was canceled only a day later, on June 19. More than 60 thousand students appeared in this exam from Chhattisgarh. Now questions arise in everyone’s mind, what should be done to prevent copying from phones?

.

Many years ago, the National Eligibility Test i.e. NET was organized by the UGC. Then the exam was essay based. Later it was objective. Similarly, in 2014, the responsibility of examination was given to CBSE. The first UGC NET exam from CBSE was held on 28 December 2014. Till July 2018, the mains was only achieved through this. The test was then conducted in pen-and-paper mode on an OMR pattern. In 2018, NTA received the responsibility of organizing NET. The exam pattern is different. The December 2018 exam was conducted in CBT mode.

From then until December 2023, the test was conducted in this state. This time too, the exam was held in pen-and-paper mode. The exam took place the very next day. Experts say it doesn’t matter how the test is done. Because a paper leak or error can happen in both mediums.

The exam was conducted in 11 cities of Chhattisgarh.

UGC NET was conducted in eleven cities of Chhattisgarh. This includes Raipur, Durg-Bhilai, Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Dantewada, Jagdalpur, Kanker, Korba, Manendragarh, Raigarh and Rajnandgaon. 11 centers were made for examination in Ripur. 4933 students were registered for the first shift. Of these, 4004 participated. Similarly, out of 3994 candidates who registered for the second shift, 3239 candidates took the exam. Thus 7243 students took the exam in both shifts. Attendance was more than 80 percent. A large number of students also took the exam in the exam centers built in other cities in the country.

Make sure to apply before the exam center
Not only was there strictness at the UGC NET exam center, this time many rules were also laid down for the application. For example, in the candidate form, he had to upload his picture without wearing a cap or glasses. This required 80% of the area to be the face (without mask) and the rest was a white wall. Computerized images will not be accepted. The form will be rejected if the instructions are not followed or the image is not clear. Similarly, uni must not be worn in the exam center. Apart from this, instructions were given not to wear clothes with large buttons.

Doctoral admission test for the first time
UGC NET is conducted for two categories i.e., Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Eligibility of Assistant Professor. But this time the PhD admission was also included in the third category. Through this, admission will be made in doctoral programs of major universities in the country.
