A collision between a car and a bicycle on the highway
Two people died in a collision between a speeding car and a bike in Chhattisgarh’s Kuria district on Thursday morning. One young man died on the spot and the other young man died in the hospital. According to the information, Raunit Singh (23), a resident of Aggarwal town, Baikunthpur, left at 9 am in I-20 car number CG 16 CH 3582 to go to Manendragarh. Meanwhile, he collided with a bike coming from the front near Jamduari Ghat between Barabaspur-Nagar on National Highway-43.

In the accident, Rahat Khan (26), driver of bicycle number UP 21 CU 7540, died on the spot. He suffered severe head and chest injuries. The driver of the car Raunit Singh was seriously injured. He was taken to Baikunthpur hospital by the local people. From there the family took him to a private hospital, where he died during treatment at 1:00 p.m.
Raunit Singh’s father, Rakesh Singh, has been posted at Baikunthpur CMHO. He was the only child of his parents. He recently started a restaurant business.
