The fervor of the NEET scam now seems to be reaching former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav. In the NEET scam, Tejashwi’s PA Pritam Yadav, whose name is revealed for providing rooms to the accused in the NHAI guest house, is one of Tejashwi’s associates. BJP claims that Pritam Yadav would not have done the job of arresting the accused at his level. Tejashwi Yadav may be behind it. The party demanded a direct probe into Tejashwi Yadav’s role in the NEET scam. Prior to this, RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav was surrounded by allegations of giving away jobs in exchange for land. If any role of Tejashwi Yadav in this matter is revealed, then it can be a big blow for RJD before the Bihar assembly elections to be held in 2025.
BJP leader Jairam Viplav alleged that the Rashtriya Janata Dal and its leaders have always been involved in corruption. He alleged that when RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav was the railway minister, he did corruption by giving jobs to the poor youth of Bihar in exchange for land. According to the BJP leader, the way in which Pritam Yadav’s plot was revealed in the NEET controversy, it indicates that big leaders will have a hand in this controversy. Without their support Pritam Yadav could not have done this corruption himself. The BJP leader said Tejashwi Yadav’s role in this case should be investigated.
Jairam Viplav said that when Tejashwi Yadav was the PWD minister, Pritam Yadav was not only his PA but he was also one of his special people. According to him, even at that time the RJD leaders were doing a wrong job through Pritam Yadav. Since the guest house where the accused were staying belonged to NHAI and earlier this department was with RJD. Even after he was no longer a minister, he used his influence to commit corruption from this guest house. He said that the entire role of the RJD ministers should be investigated and the truth should be brought out.
