The General Assembly of the Bihar Sharif District Council was held at the District Council Auditorium on Thursday. In this meeting, District Council President Tanuja Kumari, Vice President Narottam Singh and Deputy Development Commissioner Vaibhav Srivastava co-chaired the general meeting.

After the removal of the model code of conduct imposed in the wake of the Lok Sabha elections, the first meeting was organized with all the members under the chairmanship of the Zilla Parishad Chairman. A total of 15 agendas were discussed with the members at the general assembly.

Public representatives elected from different areas across the district informed the chairman and officials about the problems of their areas. In these, the issues of increasing the income of the Zila Parshad, removing encroachment from the land of Zila Parshad, building a marriage hall on the land of the Zilla Parshad, collecting rent regularly from the owners of the shops in the Zila market were discussed.
The agenda tasks approved during the meeting held before the Lok Sabha elections were also discussed. Topics such as how much work has been done on previous decisions and how much work remains were included in the discussion.
