Two people were sent to hospital on Wednesday evening after being stabbed near the Cartier metro station in Valvale, police said.
Police say they received a 911 call around 7:15 p.m. and that the victims are believed to be men in their early 20s. Laval police spokeswoman Stephanie Beshara said their injuries are not life-threatening.
The suspect fled the scene before the police arrived, she said.
The STM reported shortly after 20:00 that there were no trains stopping at Cartier station.
No arrests have been made but the investigation is ongoing.
