A student committed suicide in this PG in Mahavir Nagar area of ​​Kota.

Another training student committed suicide by hanging in Kuta. He prepared for JEE while in PG. No suicide note was found from him. He was originally a resident of Motihari, Bihar. So far this year, 11 students have committed suicide in Kota.

SHO Mahendra Maru of the Mahavir Nagar police station said – Information about the suicide of a student was received from the control room at 10 pm on Saturday night. After that he arrived at the scene. Ayush Jaiswal, 17, a resident of Motihari, lived in a hospital near Samrat Chowk in Mahabir Nagar area.

He did not leave the room until Saturday night. His friends knocked on the door. No reply has been received yet. When Ayush did not open the door, the PG operator informed the police. The police broke down the door of the room. Inside, a crew hung from a noose in the hatch. The police knocked him down and took him to the New Medical College Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

The student Ayush Jaiswal lived on the first floor of house number 1G 28 in Mahebir Nagar Third. When an investigation team arrived at the scene at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, a woman was found there. The woman said that the PG is run by her father-in-law.

However, he clearly refused to provide any information regarding this matter or the PG operator. People nearby also seemed to avoid talking about this matter. When he received information from the store, he asked to speak to the owner of the house. The student’s family arrived in Kota on Sunday evening. He flatly refused to speak to the media.

Suicide cases do not stop
According to government data, the highest number of suicides in India in 2021 was 13,000. This is 4.5% more than the data of 2020. Along with this, last year, that is in 2023, 29 students committed suicide in Kuta, which is the highest in 10 years.
