A briefing regarding the Bakrid festival was held at Siwan’s DRCC. During this period the district policeman and the deputy judge were present. Many guidelines have been given to ensure that the Bacrid festival ends safely and that no untoward incident occurs.

SP Amitesh Kumar directed the concerned magistrates and police officers to reach their representative places from 5:30 am to 6:00 am on Bakrid day and maintain full vigilance till the end of Namaz and the end of mass. He will continue to provide information on any activity to the district control room from his position. If any rumour/misinformation is spread by any anti-social factor, we will immediately investigate and ensure resolution/refutation.
