Kishan Reddy was born to Swami Reddy and Andalamma in Thimmapuram village in Kandukuru mandal in Rangareddy district. He has done Diploma in Equipment Design and got married in 1995. He made his political debut in 1977 as a Youth Morcha worker of Janata Party under the inspiration of Jayaprakash Narayan. Between 1980 and 1981, he worked as convener of the Rangareddy BJYM Committee. Between 1982 and 1983, he worked as BJYM treasurer. Between 1986 and 1990, he served as BJYM state co-president for 5 years.

Kishan Reddy’s political record
Between 1990 and 1992, he worked as the All India Secretary of BJYM. He served as National Vice President from 1992 to 1994 and National General Secretary from 1994 to 2001. He served as BJP State Treasurer from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, he was appointed as the National President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Between 2003 and 2005, he served as the state spokesperson and general secretary of the BJP.
A political career
Kishan Reddy joined the Andhra Pradesh joint Legislative Assembly for the first time in 2004 after winning from the Himayat Nagar Assembly constituency. He was elected to the Assembly from Amberpet in 2009 and 2014. Between 2010 and 2014, he served as the president of the Akhand Andhra Pradesh party. He served as the Telangana Party President between 2014 and 2016. In the 2018 Assembly, he lost by 1016 votes.

He contested as MP from Secunderabad in 2019 and won. He took office as Minister of State for Home Affairs for the first time. He continued in this position between 2019 and 2021. In 2023, he took up the post of Telangana BJP state president. He continued as the second Union Minister until 2024. At the age of just twelve, he became interested in politics and joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He worked diligently there and attracted everyone’s attention. This time he was elected to the Lok Sabha from Karimnagar.
Bandi Sanjay’s entry into politics
Bandi Sanjay was born in 1971 in Karimnagar. He worked as a volunteer in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since his childhood. Worked for two terms (1994-1999, 1999-2003) as Town Convenor, Town Vice President, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) State Executive Committee Member and Director of Karimnagar Municipal Cooperative Bank. He won the 2024 parliamentary elections for the second time as Karimnagar MP with a majority of 2.25 lakh votes.
