Political parties are constantly targeting the BJP-led NDA government and Prime Minister Modi regarding the NEET examination. Now, Tamil Nadu’s ruling DMK on Saturday accused NEET of spoiling its sanctity and also supporting coaching centers that earn crores of rupees.

The NEET UG exam was held on 5th May. Accusations of a paper leak began to rise from the day of the event. However, this time in the examination there are 67 such students who have secured the first place by scoring 720 marks out of 720. Out of 67 children, there are 6 children who have appeared for examination in only one center which is in Jhajjar, Haryana. Signs of kindness were given to more than 1,500 children. Grace marks were said to have been given to compensate for time wastage due to late examination at six centres. However, after the hearing in the Supreme Court, these grades were canceled and a re-examination will be conducted for these students.

In this exam, some of the children received grades of 718 and 719, which is not mathematically possible in terms of the exam’s grading scheme. Students claim that scores of many students were arbitrarily increased or decreased, which affected their rank.

At the same time, NTA says that the coaching institutes whose students did not succeed in the NEET UG 2024 exam are the ones that stand at the forefront of the claims, because even though the exam is relatively easy, they have lost their image among their students. groups. NTA says that if there really was a problem, then why are other training institutes silent?

Tamil Nadu’s ruling DMK then accused the National Investigation Agency of desecrating NEET. DMK has once again demanded that the national examination be scrapped saying that only this will preserve the sanctity of the education sector. Referring to the Center which had told the Supreme Court a few days ago that the merit marks of 1,563 students would be cancelled, DMK’s Tamil mouthpiece ‘Murasoli’ said the BJP government was not Does this if the matter did not reach the Supreme Court.

A report in the media stated that the anomalies and frauds that had taken place ‘secretly’ until now in the conduct of NEET came to the fore this year ‘openly’. To hide this, the exam results that were supposed to be released on June 14, were released on June 4, when the Lok Sabha election results were announced. However, the fraud was exposed. We have heard of signs of grace, it will be one or two signs. But, how can you call 70 and 80 signs of grace? NTA gave full marks and this is a national injustice. The BJP government continued to ’employ’ the coaching centers that were making crores every month and it also established ‘corporate rule’ in the education sector.

Let us tell you that since the beginning, major political parties including Tamil Nadu and DMK are opposing NEET. The assembly passed a bill to exempt the state from the scope of the examination and sent it to the president for approval by the center. “We (the state) have asked to cancel NEET or exempt Tamil Nadu from the exam,” he said. However, the BJP government dismissed the vehement protest as purely political.

At the same time, the students affected by the NEET rigging approached the Supreme Court with a request to cancel the National Eligibility Test for joining which will be held on May 5, 2024. They demanded that strict measures be taken to stop irregularities. Even “the Supreme Court itself has said that the sanctity of NEET-UG has been violated.

‘Who spoiled the purity? It was the National Testing Agency and the BJP government at the Center remained a mute spectator.” Overall, the only permanent and proper solution to this problem would be to abolish NEET and only then would the sanctity of the education sector be protected. The lawyer appeared before the Supreme Court and said that there are no differences of opinion between the agency and the government the central
