Remove the questioning video from social media immediately; Court notice to Kejriwal’s wife Achi-News

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has ordered Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife (Arvind Kejriwal’s Wife) to immediately remove the video recording of the case from social media.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal posted the video recording of the court hearing in the liquor policy case on social media. Now the Delhi High Court has ordered its removal from social media platforms.

It is worth noting that on March 28, a hearing related to the Tax Policy case was held in the Delhi High Court and a video recording was made. This video recording was shared by Sunita Kejriwal on her social media accounts. The High Court on Saturday ordered Sunita Kejriwal to remove the video.

In the video, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal can be seen addressing the trial court. A bench comprising Justices Neena Bansal Krishna and Amit Sharma issued notices to Sunita Kejriwal and six people, including social media platforms X, Meta and YouTube, under a petition alleging violation of rules.

The video was retweeted by Sunita Kejriwal when CM Arvind Kejriwal was produced in court for the second time before Special Judge (PC Act) Kaveri Baveja on March 28. Soon after, an audio/video recording of the address went viral on media social. Sunita Kejriwal retweeted a video posted by another account.

The petition was filed by advocate Vaibhav Singh. In his petition, Vaibhav Singh said that when Arvind Kejriwal was produced before the trial court in the Delhi Tax Policy case on March 28, he informed the court personally and recorded a video which was posted on social media platforms.

According to Delhi High Court Rules 2021, posting of video conferencing on public platforms like social media is prohibited.
