MLA Varun Mullana meets Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta.
Congress Member of Parliament Varun Chaudhary in Haryana has resigned from the Assembly membership. Varun Chaudhary reached Speaker Gyanchand Gupta’s house and submitted his resignation, which was accepted by the Speaker. Varun has now become MP from Ambala Lok Sabha seat.

He became MLA from Mulana Assembly from Ambala in 2019. Defeated BJP candidate in Lok Sabha elections and former Union Minister Late. Ratan Lal’s wife Kataria won by defeating Banto Kataria.
Varun was also Chairman of the Assembly’s most important committee ie the Public Accounts Committee – PSC (Public Accounts Committee). With his resignation from his position as MLA, another MLA will now be nominated by the Speaker of the Assembly as the new Chairman of this Public Accounts Committee. As the next Haryana Assembly general elections are scheduled in October this year, there will be no by-election on the vacant seat of Mullana in the assembly. (Read the full news)
