Dr Sunita Luthra, operator of Luthra Hospital behind Fatehabad, Haryana bus stand, committed suicide by hanging herself in the early hours of today (June 15). After the information, Crime Scene and City Police teams are busy investigating the scene. The cause of the incident is believed to be a domestic dispute.

According to the information, 65-year-old Dr Devendra Luthra and his 62-year-old wife Dr Sunita Luthra have been running a skin and maternity hospital behind the bus stand for many years. His son Dr Prateek Luthra and his daughter-in-law Nancy Luthra have a clinic in Bhuna. The hospital is on the ground floor and Dr. Luthra lives on the top floor and his son’s family lives on the floor above that. It is said that misery goes on in the whole family.
The son brought the mother’s dead body down from the nose.
Prateek, son of the deceased, said that, as usual, he got ready to go to his Bhuna clinic at 8.30 am and when he came down to have breakfast, he saw that his mother had not yet come out of her room. When he opened the door, he was shocked to find his mother Sunita Luthra hanging from a noose attached to the fan in the room.
He brought them down and the family found out about the matter. Dr Prateek tearfully told the police that his wife Dr Nancy and his mother were not getting on well. There was often tension in the house about this.
On the other hand, Dr Sunita Luthra’s brothers Vikas Jhandai and Sunil expressed anger against their brother-in-law Dr Devendra and said that Devendra used to harass their sister. For this reason he did not even come to his sister’s house for four-five years. His sister often told him about her problems over the phone. He accused his brother-in-law of harassing him. The police are currently busy investigating the matter.
