Political strategist-turned-activist Prashant Kishor has accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of “touching the feet” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure his continued rule.
Kishore, who ran the ‘Jan Suraaj’ campaign, addressed a public meeting in Bhagalpur on Friday, June 14.
“People ask me why I am criticizing Nitish Kumar now, after working with him in the past. He was a different person then. His conscience was not for sale,” said Kishore, who managed the JD(U)’s 2015 presidential election campaign and formally joined the party Two years later.
“The leader of a country is the pride of its people. But Nitish Kumar brought shame to Bihar when he touched Modi’s feet,” he claimed, referring to the NDA meeting in Delhi last week.
