Calcutta: Prashant Kishor’s prediction about BJP’s poll chances in Bengal did not come true. His guess about Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra also failed. He also claimed that the BJP would become the dominant party in West Bengal. But in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Prashant Kishor could not match the votes.

Far from an absolute majority, the BJP could not even win the necessary seats to form a government on its own. They could not even touch the results of 2014 and 2019. BJP won only 12 seats in West Bengal. On the other hand, Trinamool holds 29 seats.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed during the campaign for the Lok Sabha polls – ‘Ab ki bar 400 par’. It doesn’t seem like BJP’s seat numbers in West or North India is changing a lot. Moreover, the Ocher camp is getting more support in East and South India.”

Peak claimed that the saffron camp is making its presence widely known in Telangana, Andhra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. What is the reason for such a prediction?
