Devar’s lawyer, Saurabh Dangi, asked for bail for medical treatment. He also said that Anwar suffers from kidney disease and has difficulty urinating. During the discussion it was also claimed that Taver was undergoing treatment that required a visit to the hospital. Wardens are not provided in the prison, therefore treatment is not provided.
Other defendants in the case received relief
During the hearing of the case, Davar’s counsel also argued that all those accused by the EOW were granted relief from the court. On this basis, a request for bail was also submitted for Anwar Devar. After hearing this case, Justice Arvind Verma’s secretary accepted Anwar’s bail plea.
Additional accused in the liquor scam case filed a petition in the High Court challenging the FIR and the action of the EOW, which the court directed the EOW not to take any action.
Bail was denied earlier
In fact, the imprisoned accused Anwar Debar found refuge in the Supreme Court after his request for temporary bail was rejected by the lower court. In the middle of the summer vacation, his lawyer asked for an early hearing on the temporary bail request. In this regard, Justice PP Sahu refused to grant interim relief.
