Increase in demand for electricity

Due to increasing temperature the demand for electricity has also increased. According to the department, the demand for electricity yesterday was 438 MW. On Thursday, the use of electricity had broken all records so far. On Thursday the demand for electricity had reached 449 MW. Because of this, all the power lines run overloaded. Because of this the problem of defects is also increasing in many areas. However, the administration has a full electricity quota. Because of this people will not face much problem.

Monsoon may be delayed

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon has become active in Maharashtra and Sikkim. But there may be a delay in reaching Chandigarh. If monsoon arrives late, there is a possibility of pre-monsoon delay as well. Because of this, there is little hope of relief at the moment. However, monsoon will fully reach Chandigarh by the first week of July. Then there will be some relief in the temperature. At the moment the maximum temperature is 44 degrees Celsius which is 5 degrees more than normal. The lowest temperature has been recorded at 28.5 degrees. Which is two degrees more than usual. The amount of humidity in the air was 44%. Because of what hot winds were felt throughout the day.
