The remains sent to JJ Hospital in 2012 in the Sheena Bora murder case have disappeared. The prosecution gave this information in the CBI court.
If CBI sources are to be believed, this will not weaken their case, because after the examination of the remains, they have already shown the DNA report in the court, which proved that the remains are of Sheena Bora.
Indrani Mukherjee was murdered in 2012
According to CBI, Sheena Bora (24) was murdered in April 2012. Accused Indrani Mukherjee, the then driver of Shiamer Rai and her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna allegedly strangled Sheena to death in a moving car. After the murder, the body was allegedly burnt in a forest in neighboring Raigad district. Bora was Peter Mukherjee’s daughter from a previous relationship. The alleged murder case came to light in 2015 after Shyambar Rai was arrested in another case.
Indrani Mukherjee’s husband and former media tycoon Peter Mukherjee was also arrested for allegedly being part of the plot. He was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in February 2020, while Indrani Mukherjee got relief from the Supreme Court in May last year.
