Sahiwal (Web Desk) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz ordered the arrest of Principal Medical College Imran Hasan and MS Akhtar Mehboob on the fire incident in Sahiwal district teaching hospital in Punjab.
According to private television, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reached the Sahiwal Teaching Hospital today where she got information about the death of children due to fire.
After the arrival of the Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, strict security arrangements were made at the teaching hospital, the police prevented patients, relatives and carers from entering the hospital.
Later, a 4-hour inquiry meeting was held at Sahiwal Teaching Hospital on the visit of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in the meeting, 4 doctors were suspended and arrested on the orders of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, among those arrested were Chief Imran Hassan Medical College, MS Akhtar.
Doctors and paramedic staff staged a protest against the arrest of doctors and other workers.
There was a clash between the doctors and the police in the teaching hospital, the police charged the doctors with batons, the police and the doctors clashed, slogans were also raised by the doctors, but the police arrested the four doctors and left.

On the incident of fire in Sahiwal hospital and arrest of doctors, Dr Shoaib Niazi, president of Young Doctors Association, said in a press conference that our teachers and doctors have been dragged by the hair in Sahiwal.
Dr. Shoaib Niazi said that Maryam Nawaz’s uncle built this building in Sahiwal, the building was built by C&W, not by the doctor Hospitals in Punjab have all started to be closed.
The Young Doctors Association further said that our senior doctors have been accused of lathi, Maryam Nawaz has made the health sector famous on Tik Tok, Maryam Nawaz wears a doctor’s coat, takes the secretary with her and runs the hospital.
He said that the children died in Sahiwal hospital, the head, MS saved the children, the doctors clearly stated in the investigation.
Dr. Shoaib Niazi threatened that if the doctors are not released by eight o’clock at night, the work will be stopped in the whole of Punjab It is possible that the emergency services will also be stopped.
However, after the threat of doctors and protest by young doctors, paramedical staff and PMA, 4 doctors arrested in the incident were released.
On the other hand, 2 more children died due to fire and smoke in the Sahiwal district teaching hospital in Punjab, after which the number of dead children increased to 13.
Hospital sources said that 35 children have been released from the children’s ward while 2 children have been transferred to Lahore, 16 more children are facing lung problems due to the effects of smoke.
