American DJ and producer KSHMR announces the release of his next collaborative single ‘Aawara’ with King and Zaeden.
American DJ KSHMR collaborated with two leading artists King and Zaeden for the new track ‘Awara’.
Following the success of his 24-track hip hop album ‘KARAM’ released last year which featured top tier homegrown collaborators, American DJ and producer KSHMR announces the release of his next collaborative single ‘Aawara’ on Dharma Worldwide and Mass Appeal India.
Featuring rapper King and Indian singer-songwriter Zaeden on vocals, the dreamy track offers a fascinating exploration of love and friendship while touching on themes of self-discovery and personal transformation.
The track recorded a year ago in Mumbai is a testament to the power of collaboration and artistic synergy. The powerhouse trio imbues the song with emotional depth and sonic diversity, creating a rich musical experience that transcends genres and geography.

Reflecting on the collaboration, KSHMR shares, “I’ve been friends with Zaeden for a long time now and we’ve wanted to make a record together for ages. After meeting KING and playing him the track, it seemed right that we do this one together. They are both so talented, not only for singing but also writing. It started as an idea for my KARAM album but in the end we decided that a standalone single made more sense,”

I have always admired his work and I am delighted that our collaboration on ‘Aawara’ with King came together so effortlessly. It’s one of those songs where the ideas flowed naturally, without overthinking. When we first came to Aawara at a festival in Mumbai last year, the crowd was already singing along to the second chorus. Which is crazy! After eagerly waiting, I’m excited for people to finally hear this song.”
